Our services are informed by this professional expertise but are provided as educational, coaching, consulting, and professional development services.
Empowered Person does not provide clinical occupational therapy, psychotherapy, medical diagnosis, or healthcare treatment through its standard programs and services.
Our programs are not substitutes for medical care, clinical assessment, psychological treatment, or other regulated professional services.
Participation does not establish a clinical therapist–patient relationship.
We encourage participants to consult appropriately qualified professionals whenever clinical assessment, treatment, or medical advice is required.
4. Inclusion and Neurodiversity
We value neurodiversity and welcome all brains and bodies.
Our programs are designed with an understanding of different developmental, sensory, cognitive, emotional, and learning needs.
We aim to provide respectful, strengths-based, and inclusive learning environments.
Reasonable accessibility needs may be discussed before participation. We cannot guarantee that every program or strategy will be appropriate for every individual.
5. Participation by Children
Some educational programs, workshops, research activities, and collaborative projects may involve children directly.
Where applicable, participation will require appropriate authorization from a parent, legal guardian, school, or other responsible institution.
We will establish additional safeguarding, supervision, privacy, and consent procedures based on the nature of the activity and applicable law.
Children's participation in an educational activity does not automatically authorize participation in research, recording, photography, or public use of their information.

For cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance, participants may request a refund or apply their payment toward a future appointment.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be treated as completed and may not qualify for a discretionary refund, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

8. Statutory Consumer Rights
Our cancellation policies do not replace or restrict mandatory consumer protection rights.
Where applicable, consumers purchasing services or digital products at a distance may have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right.
Any request to begin services during the withdrawal period, or to receive immediate digital content, will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Where required, express consent and acknowledgment will be collected separately during checkout.
Refunds arising from statutory withdrawal rights or other mandatory consumer remedies will be provided within the legally required time limits.
9. Subscriptions and Recurring Programs
Participants will be able to cancel future renewals through the stated cancellation process. Cancellation will stop future charges in accordance with the disclosed billing terms and applicable law, but will not necessarily result in a refund for a billing period already started.
10. Research and Program Evaluation
Some Empowered Person programs include research, educational evaluation, or collaborative development activities.
Participation in research is separate from participation in our educational or coaching services.
Where research involves identifiable personal information, participants will receive information about the research purpose, procedures, data use, confidentiality, and applicable rights.
We will obtain separate informed consent, parental or guardian authorization, participant assent, ethics review, or institutional approval where required.
Research participation will be voluntary unless another lawful arrangement applies and has been clearly explained.
11. Confidentiality and Sensitive Information
Our work may involve personal information about diagnoses, disabilities, neurodivergence, development, learning, family circumstances, and individual well-being.
We treat such information as confidential and apply appropriate data protection measures.
Participants are asked to share only information relevant to the agreed purpose.
In group settings, participants must respect the privacy of others and must not share identifiable information or personal stories outside the group without permission.
Although we establish confidentiality expectations, we cannot guarantee the conduct of other participants.
12. Recordings and AI-Assisted Transcription
Some workshops, coaching sessions, interviews, research activities, and professional meetings may be recorded or transcribed.
Participants will be informed in advance when recording or AI-assisted transcription is proposed.
Recording will take place only where an appropriate lawful basis and required permissions have been established.
We will not intentionally include identifiable participant information in recordings distributed as general educational materials.
If we capture an identifiable participant's voice, image, name, or contribution, we will treat the recording as personal information and protect it accordingly.
Empowered Person will select and configure AI-assisted transcription tools with appropriate privacy, security, and data-processing safeguards.
Public use of identifiable recordings, photographs, or testimonials will require separate authorization where legally required.
13. Intellectual Property
Empowered Person retains ownership or authorized rights to its original educational materials, program frameworks, videos, graphics, resources, and website content.
This includes materials associated with FOSTER Student Success™, S.E.T., Empowered Parent™, and other original programs. Purchased materials are provided for the agreed personal, professional, or organizational use.
Reproduction, resale, distribution, modification, or commercial use beyond the applicable license requires written permission.
Separate intellectual property arrangements may apply to collaborative research and jointly developed materials.
14. Outcomes and Individual Responsibility
Our services are intended to provide practical knowledge, strategies, tools, and opportunities for learning and growth.
Individual and organizational outcomes vary.
We do not guarantee particular academic, developmental, behavioral, health, or personal results.
Participants remain responsible for applying information appropriately and obtaining regulated professional assistance where necessary.
15. Third-Party Services
We may use external providers for scheduling, payment processing, communications, online learning, and digital meetings.
Such providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Empowered Person remains responsible for its own legal obligations when selecting and using third-party providers.
16. Complaints and Disputes
We aim to resolve concerns respectfully and promptly.
Questions or complaints may be sent to hello@empoweredperson.eu.
These Terms are generally governed by Estonian law, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply in other jurisdictions.
Nothing in these Terms removes statutory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services, programs, or legal obligations evolve.
The latest version will be published on our website.
Material changes affecting existing agreements will be handled according to applicable law.
